| Admission Criteria Applicants must be at least 55 years of age, capable of |
| independent living and ambulatory. Application Procedure Apply directly to the |
| home. An interview is required with the applicant when a vacancy arises. |
| Units There are 160 units: 110 one bedroom apartments, 10 two bedroom |
| apartments and forty units are care suites. Forty-two units are rent geared to |
| income. Units must be leased on a yearly basis. Note: Care suites costs |
| includes meals, cleaning, laundry, etc. |
| Amenities Each unit is equipped with a fridge and a stove. There is a common |
| laundry area. Tenants from the apartments may utilize the residential dining |
| room for a nominal charge per meal. There is a hairdresser available on site. |
| Close to bus route and church. Walking distance to shopping and a bus goes |
| to shopping area once a week. There are also crafts and exercise activities. |
| Also there is a pool, bowling, and chapel. As well, special tub rooms, |
| whirlpool bathing area, health care office and therapy areas are available. |
| Waiting List There is a long waiting list. In building B suites are filled by need |
| rather than by numbers due to Ministry of Housing regulations. |
| Type of Care Level of care ranges from independent living to extended care |
| (level 2); such care to be provided to apartments and care suites as aging and |
| support needs make it necessary. |
| Community Services A nurse is on duty in the residential home. Counselling is |
| available, but is limited to aging issues. |
| Other The Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Complex operates a residential home for |
| seniors as well as the apartment complex. |
